The Egyptian Goose is not native to North America but they've been doing quite well establishing colonies around Houston. They are shelducks, so I'd named the neighborhood pair Shelly and Shelley.
This morning they had a surprise for me - 6 fluffy new chicks! I will call them the "Jellies".
Spring is definitely here.
